My story is not unique, like many people I've had the experience of not understanding why things weren't going my way, the experience of actually being in my own way, falling into negative patterns and being asleep to the world around me. I've felt lost, despite evidence showing I was capable. I've felt frustration, and pointed the finger at people, places and things for a lack of progress or satisfaction in all areas of life.
The change came for me, when I could no longer continue in the patterns I was in; what I needed was an entire mindset shift. I worked with others, and had a major clear out of everything blocking me off from fulfilment. I acknowledged fears, worked through resentments from the past and held the mirror up to my own character instead of blaming everything and everyone else. For me, it was like being reborn and the rewards have been plentiful in my entire life.
I have been formally trained as a holistic life coach, and take inspiration from my own coaching and healing experiences to support clients in expanding their thinking, understanding trauma and removing negative thought patterns, but also critically I help clients learn from lived experience. I believe it’s important to have done the work yourself, in order to hold this space for others, who are seeking to make changes and grow.
My background professionally has been working in corporate environments in a commercial setting, however I've found working with the person, not their job title or life circumstance has delivered the most rewarding results for my clients. After all, we are human beings, not human doings.
